This usually occurs when a sale has taken place and your solicitor has not registered the assignment with us as required by your Lease. Please liaise with your solicitor to get this resolved.
You should speak to the occupants of the upstairs property, it is likely that they are unaware of the issue. If you are experiencing difficulties in establishing a line of communication with the occupants of the property then please call us. Although we are unable to provide you with their details, we can pass your details on to them with your consent.
The best way to deal with this is to speak with your neighbour direct, they may not appreciate how loud they are being. Ask your Property Manager whether they can assist. Alternatively please contact your local council’s Environmental Health Department so they can provide necessary advice. They have more authority and are often better placed to handle such issues.
Most Leases require the Freeholder to insure the whole building. Please note that the building insurance will not cover your contents, therefore you should obtain your own contents insurance.

A Reserve Fund is the collection and saving of monies for future long term maintenance/costs. This is to protect leaseholders from large demands when, for example, a lift needs renewing or the roof recovering.
They are held in a protected, independent client account.
