There will be a button on the face of the alarm usually labelled TEST. You need to press this firmly for at least 2 seconds. The alarm will make an ear piercing sound to indicate it is working. You will probably have more than one alarm. Test them all. We recommend you test at least once a week. You may also find that when you test one alarm other alarms will sound, this is normal in an installation where alarms are linked. If have any concerns about your smoke alarm or how to test it please contact our repairs department.
